Armour Excavating just won a Web Excellence Award in the Construction category. We’re proud of this one.
By the time we started working together, Armour had grown into a serious regional operation doing four distinct kinds of work: commercial, residential, municipal, and ranch. Their site hadn’t kept pace. It was still presenting the business the way it looked years ago, not the way it actually operated.
The rebuild gave each segment its own space and entry point. A general contractor and a landowner with a clearing project aren’t looking for the same thing, and the site makes that clear now from the start.
The performance numbers moved too. GTmetrix grade went from an E to a B. Page load time dropped 70%.
